The Area Warden High Vis Vest comes in Yellow colour which is perfect to visibly identify the area wardens quickly during any emergencies. An area warden, on becoming aware of an emergency situation, activates the emergency protocols for the area, which includes raising alarm, attempting to extinguish fire, assisting people in danger and so much more. The area warden vest can be worn over regular clothing and comes equipped with adjustable Velcro fastening to enable maximum comfort.. It comes with the words “AREA WARDEN” imprinted boldly on the front and back of the vest, also making it suitable for emergency wardens, floor wardens, mobility wardens, etc. They are made with durable and lightweight polyester, in a wide range of sizes- XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 5XL and 7XL.

Is this an approved Hi Vis colour?
Yes! According to Australian Standards, only two colours are classed as Hi-Vis: a specific fluoro Yellow and Orange, as well as an Orange-Red in some cases. Therefore, this yellow vest meets the Australian standards for high vis. The Area Warden vest is in accordance with Australian Standard 2700 and is typically purchased alongside the Fire and Chief Warden vests.
Who can wear the vest and when?
The vest is often worn by Area Wardens who on becoming aware of an emergency situation, activates the emergency protocols for the area. It can be worn while they are raising alarm, attempting to extinguish fire, assisting people in danger and in many such situations.
Can I get another coloured vest but with the same text?
You may select and customise any of our high vis safety vests, but they won't be compliant with the set Australian Standard for the Area Warden Vest.
